Masters of the Shortgame
Dear Members, We will be hosting our Masters of the Short Game event. For those who aren't familiar with this event, it is an individual 9-hole event where each hole is set up to be played from less than 120 yards. We will be adding beat the pro to this event. If you beat the pro's score, you will win an additional prize. Date: Thursday, April 9th Time: Tee Times beginning at 4:00PM Format: Gross Stroke Play Double Bogey Max Cost: $15 per player Membership Type: Full Golf, Limited, and Social Rotation: We will play holes 1-9. 2026 Spring Member/Member
Members, We are pleased to announce our first Major of the year: The Spring Member/Member. This year, the format will be different than in years past. On day 1, Saturday 4/18/26, Tee Times will begin at 8:30AM on 1-10. The format for Day 1 will be a Scramble for holes 1-9 and alternate shot for holes 10-18. Day 2 will be an 8:30AM Shotgun start on Sunday on 10-19 and the format is Best Ball. Following the conclusion of play on Day 2 and lunch, we will host our inaugural Member/Member Shootout. Depending on the number of signups, we hope to have 12 Teams will make it to the shootout. This will be comprised of the 8 flight winners and the 4 best 2nd place teams. The shootout will be alternate shot (With Odds and Evens Tee shots) and each member will receive 20% of their handicap. Date: Saturday and Sunday, 4/18/26 and 4/19/26 Time: Tee Times will start at 8:30AM on Saturday, Shotgun start at 8:30am on Sunday. Format: Day 1: 1st 9 are Scramble, 2nd 9 is Alternate Shot. Day 2 is Best Ball. Cost: $80 per player with standard cart pricing Breakdown- $50 for golf payouts, $30 for Sunday's Lunch Lunch- Temple Barbecue including Barbecue Chicken, Ribs, and Pulled Pork with sides. Memberships Eligible: Full Golf Tees: White Tees- Under 55 Combo Tees- 55-64 Gold Tees- 65-74 Green Tees- 75+ and Ladies Handicaps: Will be updated on 4/16/26 Handicap Breakdown: Scramble 9 holes- 35% of low handicap, 15% of high handicap.... Alternate Shot- 50% of the team total handicap.....Best Ball 9 holes-85% Flights: Dependent on the number of entries, but hopeful we will have 8 flights determined by Team Handicap Index Registration will close on Wednesday, 4/15/26, at 5:00PM
